The West Grey Library's For the Love of Reading Event is a full autumn day at the Durham Town Hall on October 5th, where we'll celebrate stories, books and authors of Ontario to mark Ontario Libraries Month.
The day includes:
a local authors' book sale
a spotlight/'open-mic' event for those authors to read a short selection of their work
two Ontario author presentations, afternoon and evening
an afternoon local authors' panel.
literary-themed refreshments
an evening grazing meal/fundraiser

The West Grey Library hosts The Writer as Reader panel as part of the full-day For the Love of Reading event. Join engaging local authors as they explore the ways their reading informs their writing, reading turning points as authors, and more.
One of several sessions in this all-day event that's a must for those who love reading and stories. Discover new reads, meet local and regional authors, and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of reading, storytelling, writing and publishing. Whatever kind of book lover you are, there's something here for everyone. Don't miss out on this celebration of the written word and its creators!
This session fee covers entrance to the local author book sale and open mic event; and admission to an author panel with Grey-Bruce authors including Alanna Rusnak (West Grey Library's author/publisher-in-residence), Barbara MacLean, Susan Cullen and J.K. Gravier. Other sessions are available separately.
